PermissionToPlay’s Creativity 7 is a fast-paced interactive workshop.  It arms you with seven essential techniques to super-power everyday creative thinking. It is designed specifically for teams or groups of 6-30 people who frequently work together.  You will end the day with the tools and mindsets to unleash your creative ability anywhere, anytime.

A full day workshop gives you the best experience and practice with your newly-found superpowers. A crunched half-day version as also available to give an insight into your creativity.

Overview:

The workshop takes you through the key stages of the creative design process. Within each, it provides the ‘go to’ tools and knowhow to advance to the next level.

The day starts by exploring what creativity is and allowing participants to uncover their creative strengths, before looking at the methodologies of leading design thinkers and innovators. From these, we focus on seven techniques that can be applied to any situation for great results.

The first two techniques provide the springboard for creative discovery. Empathy Mapping taps into people’s perspectives and emotions while framing & re-framing synthesises insights in ways that inspire new possibilities.

Next, three ideation techniques push your imagination to its limits. We look at creative prompts, associative thinking tools and deconstruction techniques.

Then you make your ideas real, by prototyping and thinking with our hands. Finally, we apply structured evaluation methods to narrow down the best ideas for further iteration.

We finish with a review of how all 7 techniques work together and vote for the best ideas of the day.
